Pope to Give Witherspoon Lecture

The Director of the Center of Theological Inquiry is pleased to announce that Stephen Pope will give the 2014 William Witherspoon Lecture in Theology & the Natural Sciences at Luce Hall, Princeton.

Dr. Pope is Professor of Theology at Boston College and currently a Senior Research Fellow at the Center of Theological Inquiry. He will deliver the Witherspoon Lecture in May of next year on his current work in our Inquiry on Religious Experience & Moral Identity. Stephen Pope is a leading Catholic moral theologian whose publications include Human Evolution and Christian Ethics (CUP, 2007), and Solidarity and Hope: Jon Sobrino’s Challenge to Christian Theology (Orbis, 2008). Details of his lecture will be announced in the New Year.
