Richard Mouw Joins CTI Board

by William Storrar

The Board of Trustees of the Center of Theological Inquiry is pleased to announce that Dr. Richard Mouw has been elected to serve on its governing body.

Richard Mouw was until this year the President of Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California, and continues to serve as a professor there. He is one of the most respected leaders in theological education today, not only in the United States but also around the world. He is well known as an irenic and influential thinker in Christian philosophy, theology, and church life. Dr. Mouw will bring that experience and wisdom to CTI’s mission of advanced theological research as a Trustee, but not for the first time as a scholar. He was involved as a young scholar in one of the earliest CTI research projects led by the eminent Princeton University ethicist Paul Ramsey. The Board of Trustees and Director are therefore delighted to welcome back a longstanding friend of the Center and draw on his expertise as our distinguished new Trustee.
