This June Robin Lovin and Joshua Mauldin, research fellows in the Inquiry on Law and Religious Freedom, lectured in mainland China as part of CTI's Outreach program.
Prof. Zhibin Xie, also a research fellow in the Inquiry on Law and Religious Freedom, organized these lectures and moderated the discussions.
Lectures were given at Tongji University in Shanghai, as well as Nanjing University and the Nanjing Union Theological Seminary. Lectures in Shanghai were organized in cooperation with the Academy of European Cultures at Tongji University. Lecture event coverage is also available on the Tongji University website. These lectures addressed topics related to the 2014-2015 Inquiry on Law and Religious Freedom.
These outreach lectures are part of the New Approaches to Theological Inquiry project at CTI funded by the John Templeton Foundation. A lecture by Robin Lovin at Nanjing University was sponsored by the Institute for Sino-Christian Studies in Hong Kong.
