CTI at SBL / AAR in Denver

CTI Member Elise Edwards, Baylor University, addressed the Center’s well-attended breakfast reception at the November annual meetings of SBL and AAR in Denver. Dr. Edwards spoke about the value of participating in CTI's digital research group on religion and the built environment during the Covid lockdown year. Based on that positive experience, she thought the virtual component would enhance the resident phase in CTI’s new research cycle.

The CTI members and friends at the breakfast also heard from the director about the new virtual, resident, and public inquiry program in the renovated building at Luce Hall, which will open in 2024. The leaders of CTI’s new study program in psychological science for researchers in Christian theology, Thriving in Diverse Contexts, briefed those present on its value for scholars developing theologies of thriving in diverse contexts around the world.
