CTI Member Elijah Baloyi recently joined Joshua Mauldin and Michael Spezio for a conversation on the Theology Matters podcast. Recording in CTI’s digital studio, Baloyi discussed his research project in CTI’s cross training study program on psychological science for theologies of thriving. A Research Professor at the University of South Africa, Baloyi uses ethnographic tools to understand religious practices on the ground, and his current project focuses on the treatment of widows in African burial practices.
